What does INCI mean?

Four letters that describe the list of ingredients contained in a formula, displayed on the packaging itself. INCI stands for International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients. INCI nomenclature is used to provide health professionals in many countries around the world with standardised information. It is an international technical vocabulary that uses Latin and English. All of a formula’s ingredients are listed in a very specific order: from most to least concentrated.
